GLIER MSc student Chelsea Salter recognized with the best student paper award (Master’s) at the 4th Interdisciplinary Freshwater Harmful Algal Blooms (IFHAB) workshop

Congratulations to Chelsea Salter, an MSc student working with Chris Weisener who was recognized with the best student paper award (Master’s) at the 4th Interdisciplinary Freshwater Harmful Algal Blooms (IFHAB) workshop held June 7 and 8. Chelsea's research is focusing on finding ways to degrade microcystin, a harmful toxin produced by algae which form Harmful Algal Blooms.
