Please join us for the GLIER Graduate Showcase 2025 on April 4, 2025, starting at noon with a special podcast workshop with CBC journalist and podcaster Allison Devereaux.
It will be held at GLIER. Our address is 2990 Riverside Drive West.
10am - The day will kick off with the science communication & coffee/tea with CBC radio & podcaster Allison Devereux (for those that pre registered).
12pm - Our special guest, Allison Devereaux will start her podcast workshop in the GLIER Davidson conference room, no registration is required
1pm - Lunch and refreshments will then be served in the GLIER lobby
1:30pm (approx.) - Promptly after lunch, lightning talks will begin
We have over 20 lightning talks scheduled, so sit back and enjoy! (I will send out the order of the talks tomorrow morning to the participants, we're still finalizing a few things so thanks for your patience).
Once all the talks are done, we would like to gather all the participants for a group photo to commemorate this event.
An awards presentation will follow where we will announce the top lightning talk and the 2024-2025 GLIER internal scholarship award recipients.
