AquaHack will take place at GLIER Friday March 13, 2026 at 11:30 am

AquaHack, presented by AquaAction, a binational group working to help find solutions to Great Lakes Water problems, will be held on Friday March 13, 2026 at GLIER from 11:30-1:30 pm.

Do you have an idea for a business that will tackle water problems in the Great Lakes?  AquaHack is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to get information and receive support and direction for real solutions to issues surrounding the Great Lakes.  Entrepreneurs with ideas can gather information and pitch their ideas to the group, and receive mentorship and business support.  The 4 main areas of interest are:  1) Water access and community resilience, 2) How AI and data centres are impacting water quality in the Great Lakes,  3) The Great Lakes Circular Blue Economy and 4) Water quality and ecosystem health in the Great Lakes including problems with microplastics, PFAS, water contamination, algae blooms and aquatic invasive species.

Participants who successfully pitch their ideas will receive mentorship opportunities and will be matched with water issue leaders, be given information you need to solve business issues, entrepreneurship support including business plan development and seed funding and the ability to continue on in the wider Hacks.

GLIER is located at 2990 Riverside Dr. W., Windsor ON.  The event will be held in the Davidson Conference Room, Room 250
