Research Interests:

We investigate the dynamic relationships between contaminant degradation and nutrient cycles to characterize the fate and transport mechanisms of industrial, agricultural, and oil/gas-related pollutants in the environment. Our focus is to use compositional and isotopic tracers to identify the causal link between these multiple interacting stressors and lake eutrophication to improve our understanding of the factors that negatively impact the Great Lakes and their watersheds.
