Position Description:

Researchers in the Psychology Department at the University of Windsor are seeking a Project Manager, Implementation and Community Partnerships to support the development and testing of three novel implementation models for scaling a sexual assault resistance education program for adolescent girls. The Project Manager, Implementation and Community Partnerships position is funded through a 5-year Public Health Agency of Canada grant awarded to Drs. Charlene Senn and Sara Crann in the Department of Psychology (funded from 2024-2029). The ideal candidate will hold this position until April 30, 2029. 
The Project Manager will oversee and manage the project resources (e.g., managing the budget), lead communication and collaboration with project community partners, and work in collaboration with the Senior Research Associate (and the PIs) to ensure the research evaluation goals are met. The successful candidate will report to Dr. Charlene Senn, Professor, Canada Research Chair (Tier I), Department of Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies. This position requires the successful candidate to be located in (or relocate to) Windsor, ON.

Essential Qualifications:

Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in social science or health science discipline (e.g., psychology, sociology, health sciences)
3-5 years progressive experience in implementation research and/or community-based research
Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining equitable partnerships with community organizations 
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site projects
Quantitative data analysis skills; proficient in SPSS
Excellent written and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and professionally with research team members, community partners, and other project stakeholders
Ability to work independently, to set and schedule priorities, to anticipate and meet deadlines, and to perform and cope well with multiple responsibilities, tasks, and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

Research publication and academic presentation history
Education/training background and/or research experience related to violence against girls/women
Experience managing research grant budgets
Start Date: July 1, 2024
