Research Assistant for Professor Berryman and Annette Demers

 

Project Supervisors: Annette Demers and Professor Jeff Berryman

Period: September to December 2024 (with a possibility of renewal in winter 2025).

Rate of Pay: $25 per hour

Allocation:  ten hours per week

Number of Positions Available: three

Description:

Professor Jeff Berryman has widely written and is renowned for his expertise in the law of remedies. For this project, students will be asked to read, analyze and code an extensive list of relevant cases using a preset excel spreadsheet.

Training and instructions will be provided. No prior knowledge of excel is required.

Required Qualifications:

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

1. Currently enrolled in second or third year at the Faculty of Law.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Has taken Remedies course.

2. Has taken Advanced Legal Research course.

3. Has taken Tort Law course.
