Services for Persons with Disabilities

The Law Library is committed to providing access for all visitors.

University of Windsor students with particular needs are advised to contact the Student Disability Services Office at ext. 3288 in order to take advantage of the services provided.

For members of the public, further assistance can be found through community organizations such as CNIB, Canadian Hearing Society, and Association for Persons with Physical Disabilities of Windsor & Essex County.

Obtaining Special Materials

In accordance with the Law Library’s “Alternative Format Policy for Library Materials” policy:

A University of Windsor patron or registered member of the public, may request alternative format materials. 

The law library will endeavour to provide an alternate format copy of a book, or other library materials, found in the library collection, at no cost to the requesting patron.

Documentation supporting the need for an alternative format may be required prior to processing the request.

Students who require further assistance are encouraged to contact the University’s Student Disability Services.

Inform Us Now

If, in the event of an emergency evacuation, you will need assistance to evacuate the building, please register with a staff member upon entering the library.
