March 14, 2019:  Bayshore Therapy & Rehab (BTR) is looking to hire a student who has completed their 1st year of nursing to work with us on a part time basis until they graduate in 2022! BTR provides Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Language Pathology services to patients in the community- we service over 5000 patients a year in the Erie St. Clair region alone. The position we are hiring for is as a Client Services Coordinator on a part time basis. Our Coordinators process our electronic referrals for therapy, liaise with patients and therapists, and communicate with the Local Health Integration Network to ensure services are arranged for patients as required.

The candidate we are looking for must be very mature,  would be committed to working weekends and weekdays as required, with the possibility of more hours in the summer months.  We are happy to work around your school and exam schedule, and in return we want someone who is committed to working with us and being part of our team. Unfortunately if you aren’t available holidays or over the summer months, we are likely not a good fit. We are open 364 days a year and require our weekend support to be available so our full time staff can have days off.

We have had excellent students working with Bayshore, assisting our full time Client Service Coordinators.  It is an opportunity for you to see how the health care system is integrated and administered in the community.

If you are interested, please send your resume to cmetcalfe@bayshore.ca. Please detail in your resume why you think you would be the best candidate for us to hire, and please provide information about your availability and how you would be committed to working with us.

I look forward to hearing from you!
