Summer housing is available to students who are registered for intersession/summer courses, placements (ex. coop, internships) or practicum or are registered in the English Language Improvement Program (ELIP). Preference will be given to current residents and those staying for the full summer. There is no meal plan available during the summer.
UPDATE - Full Summer/Intersession/Summer term will now be in Alumni Hall for 2026 with the following:
- Space is limited
- Students at different levels of their degrees will all be housed within Alumni Hall
- Suite style single room with double bed in each bedroom - 2 students in each suite with shared bathroom, kitchenette and apartment size fridge
- You are permitted to bring small appliances (ie. toaster, air fryer, coffee pot, microwave)
- Common kitchen on 1st floor shared by all students (at times kitchen could be closed due to renovations within the building)
- There is a shared microwave on the floor lounges

Term and Move In Dates

Term dates: May 3 to August 20 (or 24 hours after your last exam, whichever is sooner)
Move in day: May 3, 2026, if you are arriving after this day, you must complete a Late Arrival Request.
Students currently living in residence wishing to continue living in residence until May 3 are required to complete an extension request in addition to the Summer Residence Application. Additional charges apply to stay in residence in between terms and you will be required to move to your summer room assignment prior to May 3 move in day.
Residence Fees:
- $3001 + $20 programming fee
Includes: Full summer term, ELIP, Summer Co-op, MITAC and any other registered academic activity for the full summer.
Term Dates: May 3 to June 21 (or 24 hours after you last exam, whichever is sooner)

Residence may be available for the following dates, though we do not guarantee availabilty. Please note that you will be permitted to move in one day prior to the start of consolidation and will be required to move out by the end of day listed below for each term.

Additional charges apply to stay in residence in between terms and you will be required to move to your summer room assignment prior to your consolidation move in day.
