The following information will help ensure your move-in goes as smoothly as possible. Please reach out to housing@uwindsor.ca if you have any additional questions or will need additional assistance for move in.
- Full Summer & Intersession: Sunday, May 3 - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Summer 6 Week: Sunday, June 21 - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Nursing Consolidation:
- Year One: Sunday, May 24 – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Year Two: Friday, May 8 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Year Three: Wednesday, April 22 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Tech Studies and Education PhD: Wednesday, July 1 – 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Note: Early arrivals are not permitted.
- Students assigned to Cartier Hall will check-in at Cartier Hall (2750 Wyandotte Street)
- Students assigned to Alumni Hall will check-in at Alumni Hall (750 Sunset Ave)
- Please refer to Move In Date section for dates and times
- Parking information can be found here
- Students who are arriving after the scheduled move-in date will need to submit a Late Arrival Request Form.

- Laundry Supplies
- Linens & Towels (see Residence Hall info page for bed size)
- Medications
- Personal toiletry items, ie shampoo, soap, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.
- Toilet paper
- Seasonal appropriate gear, ie. rain, sun, snow, etc.
- School Supplies (Pens, Notebooks, Binders)
- Shower Curtains and Hooks
- Small appliances (ex. coffee maker, toaster can be used in the kitchen/kitchenettes in all buildings
- Water Bottle - Reusable
Alumni Hall Only:
- Trivet (Silicone)
- up to 3 small appliances (ex. kettle, air fryer)
