Residence Community Standards

The Residence Student Conduct process aligns with our Residence Curriculum Area of Focus of social responsibility and as such, students who participate in our conduct process have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills needed to become socially and civically responsible citizens in their communities.

The primary purpose of the Residence Student Conduct Process and the Residence Community Standards is to:

  • Provide educational opportunities for students to learn, and reflect on, how their actions and decisions affect their community
  • Maintain an environment that supports learning and personal development for all residents

Residents who are documented for a violation of the Residence Community Standards will proceed through the Residence Student Conduct Process and if found responsible, will be held accountable for their actions.

All correspondence will be done via email to your University of Windsor email so ensure to check it regularly. Not checking your email will not be accepted as an excuse for missing a meeting/ hearing and will not be accepted as a reason for an appeal of a decision.
