Concurrent General Science Education

This is a joint offering between the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education. Direct admissions from high school only.

This unique program is offered jointly over five years by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education. Students are prepared to teach at the intermediate and senior levels (grades 7-12), with an emphasis on teaching one of Physics, Biology or Chemistry and a second teachable.

Students in the program should seek advising from both Education and Science in choosing appropriate courses for teacher preparation. Students can work with the General Science advisor and may be referred to advisors in specific program areas to obtain the best preparation that suits the student goals in a particular discipline.
