Biography

Clarissa Campigotto is a Field Learning Specialist in the School of Social Work at the University of Windsor. In this role, she coordinates graduate field education by developing and maintaining community partnerships, negotiating and confirming field placements, matching students with placement opportunities, conducting site visits, and supporting students throughout their field learning experiences.

With more than 17 years of social work experience, Clarissa has worked across a broad range of settings, including child and adult mental health, clinical counselling, education, and healthcare. In addition to her role at the University of Windsor, she maintains a private practice, where she provides counselling services to individuals in the community.

Clarissa has extensive training in trauma-informed care and is committed to fostering supportive learning environments that integrate reflective practice, ethical decision-making, and evidence-informed approaches to social work. Her professional interests include field education, professional ethics, trauma-informed practice, and the development of competent, compassionate social work practitioners.
