Recognition and Benefits

As an experiential learning opportunity, the LEAD program aims to support current undergraduate students in developing transferrable skills and gaining leadership experience.

Students in the LEAD program will develop several skills including:

  • Peer Leadership and Mentorship
  • Effective Communication
  • Inclusive Leadership and Equity-Informed Practice
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Professionalism and Institutional Representation
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability

Students in each of the streams will also receive formal recognition that can be used towards graduate school applications, added to resumes and used in future job interviews.
