Q1: Is the semester cancelled?
A1: No. Classes continue to run.
Q2: Are final exams cancelled?
A2: No. All final exams/papers and graded assignments will be laid out in your course syllabus.
Q3: Can I come to WGST Office?
A3: No. We ask that contact the office by email at wgst@uwindsor.ca.
Q4: Do I have access to my faculty members or other staff, to answers my questions and needs?
A4: Yes, via email, but please be patient for a response. We recommend that all in person meetings are cancelled to establish ‘social distancing’ and reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. We can facilitate discussions via live video through Microsoft Teams if you would like to speak to someone one-on-one. Please email us to make a request for a meeting time.
Q5: Can I still graduate?
A5: All students that have applied to graduate are the top priority in ensuring your academics continue as uninterrupted as possible. Please visit https://www.uwindsor.ca/graduation-convocation/ for more information about graduation/convocation.
Q6: I live in residence. Will they close?
A6: Residences continue to operate. Please see your residence advisor for any updates on protocols in-residence.
Q7: I am feeling anxious and stressed. Where can I go for help?
