​The Career Centre organizes a range of career fairs and recruitment events throughout the year, providing students and new grads with opportunities to engage with employers and professionals in their desired industry. Employers can elevate their company's visibility and engagement at the University of Windsor, while students gain valuable experience networking, learning about career paths, and determining potential future and current employment opportunities.​​

Community Volunteer Fair

Community Career & Volunteer Expo

Representatives from local community, non-profit, and publicly funded organizations connecting with UWindsor students from a variety of faculties to network and discuss available volunteer and current or future career opportunities.

Networking & Recruitment Events 

The Career Centre provides a variety of opportunities for students and employers to network through panels, information sessions, booths, and other events. Students are able to learn about employment opportunities, build skills related to their career, ask questions, and network with representatives in their areas of interest. Employers can boost brand awareness and recruit UWindsor students and future graduates.

Science Career Social: Eat, Meet & Network

January 2027, Essex Hall – CORe Atrium

This event brings together students studying across various areas of science with industry representatives and community partners, as panelists. The panelists will provide information about careers in science from their organization and provide insight into next steps for career exploration and development.

Teacher Recruitment Days

Fall & Winter Semesters, Education Building Lobby

Representatives from schools, boards, and educational agencies are invited to connect with teacher candidates on campus on select days throughout the Fall and Winter semesters face-to-face, in a relaxed setting, to network and discuss recruitment opportunities and company information.

Students in the Faculty of Education will receive more details about dates and organizations attending, via email, from the Faculty of Education.

 

 


On-Campus Information Sessions & Booths

On-campus employer information sessions and booths provide students with opportunities to learn more about organizations, connect with employer representatives, and explore career and employment opportunities. At the same time, employers can showcase their organizations, engage with talented students, promote opporunities, and raise brand awareness on campus.

Career Panels with Professionals

Career panels give students a valuable opportunity to hear directly from professionals working in their area of interest. Students can explore potential career paths, gain insight into how degrees can be applied in diverse and unexpected ways, and learn about the range of roles and opportunities available within an industry. Students can also ask questions and may have the opportunity to network and make connections with professionals in the industry.
