Due to the worldwide COVID pandemic, the GLIER Symposium has been postponed, likely until the Fall, 2020.  Notices will be posted on the GLIER website at a later date to inform participants of the new date once it has been determined.

We thank the Plenary Speakers (Drs. Erin Dunlop/MNRF & Helen Jarvie/Waterloo), the career panel (Ms. Jennifer Boheme/IJC, Ms. Sarah Primeau/Space2Place Design, Dr. Graham Raby/GLIER & Ms. Jennifer Smith/MNRF) and many stakeholders who were planning to attend.  We are hopeful they will be able to join us in the future.

We thank our confirmed sponsors and supporters of the event thus far - International Joint Commission, Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers, Office of the VP Research, Faculty of Science, ERCA, Wayne State T-RUST program, MNSi, Anchor Coffee, the GLIER stitching club; many were immediately keen to support our annual celebration of graduate student research.

Finally - thank you to the GLIER graduate students who made up the Organizing Committee: Alicia Banwell, Yu-Ting Chen, Alicia DiCarlo, Claire Docherty, Roland Eveleens, Justine McAndrews, Tilak Patel, Jessica Robson, Emily Varga, Lauren Weller. Together they have turned out an amazing effort this past year to help deliver an amazing Seminar series in the fall & effectively plan the Symposium thus far.
