We are excited to announce the 2026 Annual GLIER x SOE Graduate Research Showcase is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8th, 2026.
Submission of titles is now open for graduate students interested in presenting a lightning talk about their research.
All students currently enrolled in the GLIE-8500 Seminar course and the ESCI-8800 Seminar course are required to present a lightning talk.
Any other graduate students affiliated with GLIER (regardless of degree program) are encouraged to participate as well.
Lightning talks are short-form talks where each speaker will have 3 - 5 minutes to tell the big picture of their research.
This will be a great opportunity to practice your presentation skills in front of an audience.
Please submit your lightning talk title and a minimum of 2 slides to the graduate secretary (glier-grad@uwindsor.ca) by April 3rd, 2026.
The event will kick-off at 12pm with our keynote speaker, Dr. Robert Huber at 12pm and followed by a complimentary pizza luncheon.
The graduate lightning talks and awards presentation will follow.
