Lancers Men's Volleyball, Hockey and Football are set for action this weekend.
The University of Windsor’s Lancers football team is set for a thrilling afternoon showdown for their final home game of the year, hosting the Western Mustangs at Alumni Stadium Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m.
The Lancers look to hand the undefeated Mustangs their first loss of the season. Fans can expect an exciting, high-energy contest with playoff implications on the line.
Sunday sees the action shift to Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex as the York Lions face off against the Lancers Men’s Hockey team. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. Fans are asked to bring a canned good to support the Lancer Thanksgiving Can Drive with collected items being donated to the Windsor Goodfellows.
Men’s Lancers Volleyball continues its preseason with an in-house tournament October 3 to 5 at the Toldo Lancer Centre. Several top 10 teams from the OUA – the Alberta Golden Bears, Saskatchewan Huskies and Toronto Varsity Blues – and the #4 ranked Windsor Lancers are set to battle it out for preseason pride.
