Aligning with institutional efforts to deepen academic collaboration and global engagement, the University of Windsor and Beijing City University (BCU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as part of a delegation visit.
This MOU signals a reconnection with Beijing City University. Previous partnerships resulted in BCU students studying at UWindsor for English language improvement and graduate studies.
The signing took place on BCU’s campus, where Dr. Cheryl Collier, Provost and Vice-President, Academic of UWindsor, joined a delegation of senior university leaders. The two institutions agreed to the MOU with the intention of further exploring formal academic partnership.
“This MOU formalizes a shared vision for global partnership,” said Collier.
“By working together, UWindsor and Beijing City University can co-create opportunities for students and scholars, bridging our campuses and fostering innovation across continents.”
This MOU, along with additional advancements made during the delegation to China, are expected to enhance UWindsor’s international presence, providing new pathways for its community to engage with one of Beijing’s leading institutions.
