Lancers action on Saturday to support breast cancer awareness

Windsor Lancers men's basketball and women's hockey action.

This Saturday, the Windsor Lancers are hosting their 19th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to raise funds for cancer research.

As part of U SPORTS's Shoot for the Cure initiative, money raised will support leading-edge cancer research, help offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families and advocate for healthy public policies.

The community is encouraged to attend and support this important cause at the following Breast Cancer Awareness Lancers games this weekend:

  • Women's basketball vs. Toronto, 6 p.m. at Toldo Lancer Centre
  • Men's basketball vs. Toronto, 8 p.m. at Toldo Lancer Centre
  • Women's hockey vs. Laurier, 7:30 p.m. at Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex

These games will feature pink Lancer t-shirts for sale with proceeds also supporting the campaign.

Tickets are available at golancers.ca/tickets
