The Windsor Lancers are set to host the Forsyth Cup final for the second consecutive year, welcoming the Queen’s Gaels to the Toldo Lancer Centre Friday night with an OUA title on the line.
For the second straight year, the Lancers will host the Queen’s Gaels in the Forsyth Cup at the Toldo Lancer Centre with an OUA title on the line prior to next weekend’s national championship, the 2026 U SPORTS BioSteel Men’s Volleyball Championship.
First serve of the OUA Championship is set for Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m.
On Thursday, the Windsor Lancers men’s hockey team will take on the TMU Bold in the OUA semifinals as they look to advance and host the Queen’s Cup and vie for a spot in the national championships.
The Lancers earned the semifinal berth after an exciting two-game sweep of the Guelph Gryphons last week, dominating the visiting Gryphons 5-2 in game one followed by a thrilling overtime victory in Guelph.
Game 2 will be held Saturday at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex with puck drop at 7:30 p.m.

On the road, the nationally ranked track and field team heads to Winnipeg for the U SPORTS national championship.
The Lancer women claimed a bronze medal at the provincial championships two weeks ago, while the men finished just off the podium in fourth.
