Ignite the Blue and Gold as Lancer Day of Giving returns on Thursday, Oct. 29.
Building on the success of last year’s campaign, the 24-hour fundraising challenge will bring together alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and fans to support UWindsor’s varsity teams.
The 2025 campaign raised more than $155,000 with over 400 generous donors giving back – nearly tripling the inaugural event’s total of $58,746 in 2024. The results demonstrated the strength of the Lancers community and its commitment to helping student-athletes succeed.
Here’s how it works: All Lancers varsity teams will compete in a friendly fundraising challenge, rallying supporters to give. Donations go towards enhancing the student-athlete experience including equipment, updating facilities, coaching and training opportunities helping Lancers compete at their best while developing skills and experiences that extend beyond sport.
Whether you cheered from the stands, wore the Blue and Gold as a student-athlete, or simply believe in the power of university sport, Lancer Day of Giving is an opportunity to show your support.
One day. Every team. All Lancers.
