Aligning with ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic collaboration, the University of Windsor and Beijing Union University (BUU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a UWindsor delegation visit to BUU’s campus in Beijing.
The signing took place on BUU’s campus, where Dr. Cheryl Collier, Provost and Vice-President, Academic of the University of Windsor, joined senior university representatives in discussions focused on deepening academic ties.
The two institutions agreed to the MOU with the intention of exploring formal academic partnership opportunities along with additional discussions held during the delegation’s visit.
“This agreement represents an important step in expanding UWindsor’s global academic network,” said Collier.
“Beijing Union University’s applied-learning focus aligns closely with our institutional priorities, and we look forward to identifying new ways to support student mobility, faculty engagement, and collaborative research.”
The MOU is expected to enhance UWindsor’s international presence and create new avenues for collaboration with one of Beijing’s well-established comprehensive universities.
