We understand that conflicts can arise in any environment, and addressing them effectively is crucial for maintaining a respectful, positive and productive environment. The OHRCRM is dedicated to providing guidance and resources to help you navigate and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
Resolution of complaints
-
A safe environment should be provided for individuals to voice concerns if they feel they have been mistreated, discriminated against, or harassed (Code-related).
- Investigate and manage the fact-finding process for complaints in a consistent, timely, and fair manner.
- Assist those involved in disputes or complaint resolutions in acquiring the necessary assistance or support.
- Personal Resolution
- Informal Resolution
- Formal Resolution
While the Confidential Intake Form can be submitted anonymously by not including personal identifiers, we do recommend that individuals include their name and contact information to allow the Office of Human Rights, Conflict Resolution and Mediation to address the complaint fully. Anonymous submissions may limit the University’s ability to take the appropriate next steps to resolve the concern.
To file a complaint, please complete our Confidential Intake Form. We understand that filing a complaint is not a decision taken lightly, and we appreciate your courage in doing so. Once you've filled out the form, you can email it to hrcrm@uwindsor.ca. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are dedicated to supporting you throughout this process to the best of our ability. Thank you for helping us create a better environment for all.
