Rachel Picard
Hello! My name is Rachel Picard, and I am honored to serve as the Undergraduate Student Representative on the Psychology Departmental Council for the 2025–2026 academic year. I am currently pursuing a Concurrent Education degree in Psychology at the University of Windsor, where I enjoy learning about human behavior, mental health, and the many ways psychology can be applied to support others in academic and personal settings.
As a representative, my role is to be a voice for undergraduate students by bringing forward student perspectives, ideas, and concerns at departmental meetings. I am passionate about building connections within our psychology community and ensuring that student experiences are heard and valued.
Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue both a Master’s and PhD in Child Psychology, with the goal of working directly with children and families to promote well-being and resilience. Outside of academics, I enjoy volunteering in the community and working with children and youth, where I can apply what I learn in the classroom to real-world experiences. I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to our department and look forward to connecting with fellow psychology students this year!
