UWindsor Appoints Dr. Josianne Marsan as Dean of the Odette School of Business

WINDSOR, Ont. — The University of Windsor is pleased to announce the appointment of Josianne Marsan as the new Dean of the Odette School of Business, effective July 1.

Dr. Marsan brings over 15 years of experience from Université Laval’s Faculty of Business Administration, where she served as Vice-Dean of Research and Innovation. Her leadership at the Information Technology and Business Research Centre (CeRTIA) highlights her expertise in integrating technology with business practices.

"Dr. Marsan is an exceptional leader with a proven ability to inspire collaboration and drive innovation,” says University of Windsor Provost Robert Aguirre. “Her strategic approach and commitment to fostering partnerships align perfectly with the University’s mission to empower positive change."

In her new role, Dr. Marsan aims to build on Odette’s existing strengths, embrace change and transformation, and enhance connections with local and international communities.

"Odette is a school that is open to trying new things," Dr. Marsan says. "I look forward to working with the faculty, staff, students and alumni to build on its strengths, embrace transformation, and forge meaningful connections locally and globally."
