The Office of Public Affairs and Communications (PAC) serves as the University of Windsor’s central resource for strategic communications, marketing and advertising, graphic design, website content and design, media and public relations, social media, and audio-video production.

Our team leads and develops communications plans, brand marketing and institutional advertising, and works closely with members of our internal campus community and partner organizations to develop content and materials that share the University of Windsor story with stakeholders around the world.

We are a full-service shop offering our clients a wide range of complimentary services.

When submitting a graphic design, please provide the minimum notice as outlined below:

PAC provides up to two revisions for reach graphic design project. Additional revisions will affect the designer's ability to meet requested deadlines.

When submitting a request for Production Services – including promotional photography and videography, event documentation and AV event production services, please take into consideration the work back planning required to execute and deliver:  

Pre-planning: four to eight weeks 

  • Pre-planning is an essential part of Production Services to ensure we can meet your goals and timelines. Depending on the scope of work and current workloads, it is recommended that consultations start at least 8 weeks ahead of deliverable or event

  • Video Production and Audio Recordings Pre-planning includes consulting, site visits, storyboarding, script writing, scheduling models/participants/talent and spaces
  • Promotional Photography Pre-planning includes consulting, scheduling participants and spaces
  • Event Production and/or Documentation Pre-planning includes consultation, site visits, agenda building, dry-run scheduling and production asset creation

Plan Execution: two to 15 business days 

  • Video Production filming – depending on scope, this could take longer

  • Promotional Photography
  • Event Production and/or Documentation – 2-3 business days includes set up, tear down, live event support and documentation (photography and/or filming, but does not include editing)

10 to 20+ Business Days 

  • Video Editing

  • Audio Editing
  • Photography Editing

After-hours events or requests supported by PAC Production Services are subject to overtime charges of a rate of $90 to $100/hr per technician.
