WINDSOR, Ont. — Despite the complexities in the higher education sector, the University of Windsor has achieved a balanced budget for 2024/2025. This was attained through the prudent use of one-time funding from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and an immense and challenging collective effort to realize efficiencies.

WINDSOR, Ont. — In a significant boost to innovation and commercialization, the University of Windsor has been awarded $300,000 by Intellectual Property Ontario (IPON) to fortify its intellectual property capabilities.
The funding is earmarked for UWindsor’s Office of Research Partnership, a key player in technology transfer and industry collaboration, enhancing the university's capacity to bring inventions to market.

WINDSOR, Ont. — Dr. Robert Gordon has been reappointed as president and vice-chancellor of the University of Windsor.
The University’s Board of Governors made the decision recently, following a review process.
"President Gordon's leadership in guiding this University is truly exceptional,” said Helga Reidel, chair of UWindsor’s Board of Governors.
