WINDSOR, Ont. — University of Windsor Continuing Education is pleased to announce the Town of Tecumseh as the Industry Project Partner for the upcoming Applied Leadership Program.

The Town of Tecumseh will provide real-world case scenarios and feedback on capstone presentations at the end of the program.

WINDSOR, Ont. — The University of Windsor has climbed nearly 100 spots in a global ranking examining the world’s top universities.

UWindsor ranked fourth among non-medical universities in Ontario, seventh nationally, and 547th overall in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. This marks a notable improvement from last year’s position, which was between 640 and 650.

WINDSOR, Ont. – The University of Windsor has appointed Cláudio Verani, professor of chemistry and Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Wayne State University, to a five-year term as Dean of the Faculty of Science effective July 15, Provost Robert Aguirre has announced.

“We are very pleased to have attracted a scholar of Dr. Verani’s experience and stature to this role following a highly competitive search,” Dr. Aguirre says. “He will provide crucial leadership in our teaching and research missions, advancing faculty, staff, and student excellence.”

WINDSOR, Ont. – The University of Windsor is set to celebrate the academic achievements of more than 5,000 students at its 2024 Spring Convocation.

The ceremonies will be held at the Toldo Lancer Centre over four days, from June 4 to June 7.

"This year's convocation holds special significance as it honours graduates who faced the challenge of missing their high school graduations due to the pandemic,” said University of Windsor Registrar Ray Darling.

WINDSOR, Ont. — Marking a significant milestone, the University of Windsor proudly announces the naming of its latest student residence as Rodzik Hall, in recognition of the Don Rodzik Foundation’s substantial contributions to the University and the Windsor-Essex community.

“Rodzik Hall symbolizes our commitment to supporting the educational journey and well-being of students here at the University of Windsor,” said Don Rodzik.
