Two excellent written accounts of the history of the University of Windsor’s Department of Physics are available.
The first is entitled “The Physics Department at the University of Windsor.” It was authored by Professor emeritus Lucjan Krause and appeared in Physics in Canada (Vol. 60, No. 6, 2004).
The second is a chapter from the book Back in the Day 1963-2013 (published by Black Moss Press, 2013). This was authored by University Professors emeritus William Baylis and William McConkey and is entitled, “Physics in the 1970s and ‘80s: The Golden Years.”
