Biography

SHARON MUNRO is the Social work librarian at the Leddy Library. In addition to her qualifications in Library and Information Studies, she also has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work. Students can make appointments to see her for one-to-one help with their research. She can also advise faculty members about bibliographic databases and other library resources that may be pertinent to their research and classes. Sharon provides library instruction classes that are specifically tailored for Social Work courses. She is responsible for buying library materials for Social Work and welcomes suggestions and advice from faculty and students. She liaises regularly with the Social Work faculty bibliographer about library materials and new development/programs in the School of Social Work that require library resources.
