One word to describe your exchange?
Unforgettable

What is the worst thing that happened while you were on exchange? How did you deal with it?
When I got a bad grade on an assignment for a class. I dealt with by talking to writing support and they help me write better papers for the future and in the end a got a really good grade in that class.

How did you finance your exchange?
I used OSAP and got a student loan

How are you including exchange on your resume?
Going on exchange looks good on a resume because it shows that you are very adaptable and willing to learn and experience new things.

Hardest person to leave when you went on exchange?
My boyfriend, we would talk everyday and FaceTime when we could. He also came to England for a week to visit me.

Hardest person to leave that you met while on exchange?
All of my flatmates because they really became my second family while I was there. They were someone to travel with and supported me when I felt home sick, as well as, someone to celebrate holidays and birthdays with.

What is something that you know now, that you wish you knew before you went on exchange?
I felt very prepared when I arrived and I think Michelle really prepared me for everything and I did not wish I would have known anything else. Going to the Orientations and meeting with Michelle in the exchange office really helped me be more confident and less nervous about leaving home for the first time and going on exchange.
