Lina Nikolova, Competition Law Officer, Cartels and Deceptive Marketing Practices Branch, Competition Bureau
Lina Nikolova is a Competition Law Officer with the Cartels and Deceptive Marketing Practices Branch of the Competition Bureau. She investigates companies and individuals for deceptive marketing practices under the Competition Act, with a focus on the digital economy. Lina started her career at the Bureau as an intern in the Mergers branch, and prior to joining the Bureau, she articled and practiced at a law firm in Toronto. Lina holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor degree, also from the University of Toronto.
