Black Student Mentorship Program

Prempeh Williams is an Odette MBA Alumnus with over 20 years of experience in TD Securities. He currently works as Managing Director in the TD Securities Asset Securitization Group focusing on the structuring of creative securitization solutions for large Canadian and multi-national corporations. He is offering a valuable opportunity to Odette business students to learn from his considerable knowledge and experience through mentorship.

Eligibility: 

All business students who identify as Black are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to finance students or students with a strong technical skillset or interest.

For the Bachelor of Commerce program, preference will be given to 2nd or 3rd year students.

 

Program timeline:

  • Tuesday, September 22nd from 11am-12pm on Microsoft Teams: Attend a ‘Meet Prem’ session where you can learn more about the mentorship program, Prem’s career, and benefits from becoming a mentee.

Register for the 'Meet Prem' session here.

  • Monday, September 28th by 11:59PM: Interested candidates can then submit a resume and the link to their digital interview to Clementa.Stan@uwindsor.ca.

Please follow these steps to complete the recorded digital interview:

  • Access https://uwindsor.biginterview.com/
  • Choose "Register" and create an account using your UWindsor email
  • Select "Assignments" and input this assignment code: 739293
  • Record your answer to each question
  • Once you have answer all the questions, click "Submit"

Once you have submitted the interview, please share the link using these steps:

  • Select "Assignments" then "Submitted"
  • Selct "Share" and "Black Student Mentorship Program" assignment
  • Select the "Link" tab and "CopyLink"
  • Email the copied link to Clementa.Stan@uwindsor.ca
    Note: Clementa will connect with Prem and share all the interviews with him.
  • Mentees will be chosen based on eligibility and Prem's assessment of program fit.
