Acting applicants must apply to the University of Windsor, through the Ontario Universities Application Centre - The BFA Acting Program must be specified as one of your program choices.

Applicants must then complete the BFA in Acting Registration form. Specific instructions on other requirements, such as personal references, photographs, and an audition fee, are included on the form.

The Audition

Interested students have the option of completing their audition either in-person, or through a digitial submission. 

Due to concerns over Covid 19, all auditions will be done digitally

Candidates are asked to memorize and prepare two monologues. Each monologue should be approximately 1 minute in length. One monologue should be by a character from a play by Shakespeare. The other monologue should be by a character from a published modern or contemporary play. The monologues should contrast with one another.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Please print our Audition Guidelines for hints on how to prepare for your audition. Included is a list of suggested monologues, though you do not need to choose from this list.

You may also choose to set up a zoom meeting with an acting faculty member and present your monologues. Please email for an appointment.
