Graduate Assistantship Posting
In accordance with Article 12:01 of the CUPE 4590 Collective Agreement, the Department of Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering (MAME) invites applications for a Graduate Assistantship (GA) position for the Wnter 2026 term. The total number of Graduate Assistantships allocated to MAME for the 2025-26 (S25, F25, W26) is 240. It is anticipated that 60 GA positions for a maximum of 140 hours each (some positions split between two courses) will be required for Winter 2026. All positions are subject to sufficient enrolment and final budgetary approval
GA appointment contracts run from January 1st through to April 30th, therefore no late arrivals, or early departures, will be permitted.
Winter 2026 GA application:
Applicants must submit ALL transcripts (undergraduate, masters and PhD) in 1 PDF document named in this format (LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME transcripts) This is required to ensure the applicant has the necessary background to experience when assigning GAs for courses. If you application does not include ALL transcripts as requested, it will be deemed incomplete and will nto be considered.
