Before the convocation ceremony, if you are attending
Graduation check-in and diploma pick-up takes place at the Toldo Lancer Centre, 90 minutes prior to the convocation ceremonies.
Diplomas are held until all student fees are paid. If fees are not paid within 7 days of your ceremony, your diploma will NOT be at the ceremony. It will be available the Tuesday following Convocation at the Registrar's Office.
After the Convocation ceremony, if you are not attending:
If you are not attending the Convocation ceremony in person, please review the following important information regarding diploma distribution:
In-Person Pick-up:
Diploma pick-up begins on the Tuesday following Convocation. Diplomas will be held for six months after the ceremony.
Pick-up location: Office of the Registrar, Chrysler Hall North (South Entrance)
If someone is picking up your diploma on your behalf, you must provide them with Delegate Access. This is a required security measure to ensure they are authorized to access your records.
How to Provide Delegate Access
Please note: Diplomas will not be released if there are outstanding student fees.
Mailing Option:
If you selected and paid for diploma mailing when you applied to graduate, and your student account is clear, your diploma will be mailed automatically the week following Convocation.
Mailing will be to the address listed in your UWinsite Student profile. Please ensure your mailing address is current to avoid any delivery issues.
If you did not pay the mailing fee during your application and now wish to have your diploma mailed, please deposit the applicable fee into your student account:
- Within Canada: $25.00
- U.S. and International: $60.00
Payments can be made through the Finance – Student Accounts
After payment is made, please email UWinDegree@uwindsor.ca to request an update to your graduation application.
Transcripts:
Transcripts with degree notation can be ordered online starting Thursday following Convocation.
