Securing Your Diploma

Before the convocation ceremony, if you are attending

Graduation check-in and diploma pick-up takes place at the Lancer Toldo Centre at:

  • 8:00am for the morning session
  • 12:00pm for the afternoon session
  • 3:00pm for the evening session

Diplomas are held until all student fees are paid.  If fees are not paid within 7 days of your ceremony, your diploma will NOT be at the ceremony.  It will be available the Tuesday following Convocation at the Registrar's Office.
 


After the Convocation ceremony, if you are not attending:

In-person

Diploma pick-up begins on the Tuesday following Convocation.  Diplomas will be held for six months following Convocation.
Diplomas may be picked up in the Office of the Registrar, Chrysler Hall North (South Entrance). If you are unable to pick it up yourself, someone can pick it up for you. They will be required to provide photo ID and contact information for our records.

Transcripts with the degree notation can be ordered online beginning on the Thursday following Convocation.
Diplomas are held until all student fees are paid.

Mailing

If you paid for mailing your diploma at the time you applied to graduate, and all student fees have been paid, then your diploma will be automatically mailed following Convocation. (Please ensure your mailing address on the UWinsite Student System is up-to-date.)

If you did not pay the mailing fee at the time you applied to graduate and you would like your diploma mailed, the following fee needs to be deposited into your student account:

  • Within Canada  - $25.00 
  • US and International  -  $60.00

Payment may be made through the University Student Accounts/Cashier's web page:

http://www.uwindsor.ca/finance/student-accounts, or by online banking.  Add the University of Windsor as the payee and your student ID will be the account number. 

**Please note, the University of Windsor does NOT accept E-transfers.

Once your fees have been paid, please send an email to shari@uwindsor.ca indicating that you have made the deposit to your student account so that the diploma can be mailed.
