Increase in Phishing

IT Services has been dealing with an increase in phishing encountered on campus under the subject of "Re-confirm your cell#". IT Services reminds you to be diligent when responding or acting to e-mails. 

If you think you have received a phishing message:

  • Do not respond
  • Forward the message to spam@uwindsor.ca
  • Delete it

If you clicked on a link or opened an attachment:

  1. Contact the IT Service Desk at 519-253-3000 ext. 4440.
  2. Change your UWin Account password by going to the University of Windsor website and click on "Manage UWin Account" in the footer at the bottom of the page and then select "Change Your Password.“
