Network Disruption - Friday, February 14

An unexpected network disruption occurred last night, February 13, resulting in ongoing issues with some applications this morning. IT Services is aware and actively working to restore services.

Network Maintenance – Thursday, February 6 from 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
On Thursday, February 6 between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., IT Services will be performing network maintenance. During this time connectivity from some campus buildings to the core campus network and Internet will be briefly interrupted for up to 5 minutes.

You may have to restart or log in again on various platforms when the network resumes operation.

Network Maintenance – Monday, February 3 from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

IT Services will be performing an update on the campus networks on Monday, February 3 between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. During this maintenance, there will be brief interruptions to some network services across campus.

You may have to reconnect your device to the network/VPN after the maintenance is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 
IT data centre maintenance
 There will be unscheduled maintenance on the campus data centre power system this morning. No interruptions to IT services are anticipated.
Sessional Access Issue (Resolved)
UWinsite People is experiencing on-going issues related to sessional instructor course assignments. Some students and instructors impacted by this issue may be unable to view current course information within UWinsite Student and Brightspace. IT Services is aware and is working to resolve the issue. Should you experience an issue, please submit a ticket: https://www.uwindsor.ca/itservices/support/ticket
GlobalProtect VPN service is unavailable - Monday, January 13 (Resolved)

Users are reporting difficulty connecting to the campus VPN system (GlobalProtect) this morning. IT Services is aware and is working to restore service. If you are unable to connect to the VPN, please try again, as some users are reporting success after multiple attempts.
