Tim is completing his PhD specializing in sport science. He is the sport scientist and S&C coach for the Lancers Football program and is examining the dose-response to exercise. Tim utilizes wearable technology such GPS to monitor load and periodization throughout the yearly training plan. He has presented his research at ACSM and continues to advise football coaches on how best to develop their athletes. Prior to university, Tim was OHL hockey player for the London Knights.

Natalie Adam is completing her MSc. focusing on novel exercise tests that assess cardiorespiratory function. Natalie has completed multiple research assistantships (RA) within the Department of Kinesiology. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals in addition to presenting her work at international conferences. Natalie is a member of the Lancers XC team.

Abigail Passy is completing her MSc focusing on Relative Energy Deficiency (REDS) in female youth soccer players. Her BSc honors thesis examined the association between body composition and cardiovascular function in collegiate athletes who had low energy availability. Abigail is a pole vaulter for the Lancers Track & Field team.

Isabella A. Rangel is completing her MSc examining sex differences in physiological function and performance metrics in collegiate athletes. Izzy was a guard for the Lancers Women’s Basketball team and has experience as a High-Performance Assistant with Basketball Canada. During her undergraduate degree, Izzy was apart of the University’s Outstanding Scholar Program and was a U-Sports Academic All-Canadian.

Ben Tilson is completing his MSc examining the utility of creatine supplementation during heat acclimation for enhancing sport performance. Ben is a member of the Lancers Track & Field Team and has won numerous OUA and U-Sport medals, in addition to holding Lancers 400m record. Ben will be competing as a member of the FISU team at the 2025 World University Games in Germany.

Alex Dobrin is researching novel strength training techniques to enhance muscular function in university athletes. Alex was a Lancer strength & conditioning intern during his undergraduate degree and worked as a personal trainer for the Lancer Recreation. Alex is a mixed martial arts fighter and competes in Jiu-Jitsu.
