As of September 1st 2019, Modern Languages will offer an exciting new Concurrent BEd Program with focus on Second Language Education!!!
This is an ideal degree for students interested in working in an elementary and junior high school setting (up to grade 10) with recent immigrants who have special educational needs. This innovative course of studies will enable you to understand in depth the process of teaching and learning a second language (English as a second language, French, etc.).
The four-plus-two-year degree, designed to be earned in only five years, is structured to incorporate one or more additional teachable areas to make it even more versatile.
