It is time for health researchers to shine.
WE-SPARK Health Institute is issuing a call for abstracts in preparation of their annual 2026 Health Research Conference.
The annual conference will take place March 28, 2026, at the Caesars Windsor Convention Centre and will bring together researchers, clinicians, students and community partners for a full day of learning, networking and knowledge sharing.
We are excited to announce that abstract submissions are now open for our upcoming conference. We encourage submissions from all areas of health and have introduced a special call for case studies and lessons learned from the field.
Abstract submissions are due Jan. 30, and accepted submissions will be eligible for publication in the Scholarship at UWindsor institutional repository.
The conference is designed for established investigators, emerging scholars, allied health professionals, trainees and others interested in the evolving landscape of health research.
The program will feature expert plenary speakers, poster presentations and oral presentations highlighting a broad range of health research from across the region.
Individuals with lived experience will also share their perspectives during concurrent sessions, adding valuable insight and context to research discussions.
Supported by partner organizations including the University of Windsor, Erie Shores HealthCare, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, St. Clair College and Windsor Regional Hospital, WE-SPARK Health Institute is committed to strengthening regional research capacity and fostering collaboration.
The annual conference reflects this commitment by providing a platform to share knowledge, recognize achievement and promote continued excellence in health research.
Early bird registration is available until Jan. 30, with discounted rates for students, staff and general attendees.
