The University of Windsor community is invited to recognize the dedication, leadership and contributions of part-time and mature students – as well as the individuals and groups who support them – through nominations for the 34th Annual OPUS Awards Banquet.
Hosted by the Organization of Part-time University Students (OPUS), the annual celebration honours the individuals and groups who help make the UWindsor experience exceptional. The 2026 banquet will take place on Friday, Oct. 30, at 5 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium, located in the CAW Student Centre.
This year's theme, Honouring Every Journey, reflects the many paths that bring students to the University and the people who support them along the way.
Members of the campus community are encouraged to submit nominations recognizing outstanding achievements across 15 award categories. Awards celebrate excellence in teaching, academic and campus support, leadership, inclusion, community service and student impact.
Categories include Teacher of the Year, Faculty Award, Support Staff Award, Staff/Faculty Leadership Award, Student Solidarity Award, Distinguished Service Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and several others recognizing those who make meaningful contributions to campus life.
