Celebrated Lancers women’s basketball head coach and faculty member Chantal Vallée has added another honour to her long list of accomplishments and awards: being featured alongside top global executives in the Brunswick Review

The University of Windsor’s Lancers football team is set for a thrilling afternoon showdown for their final home game of the year, hosting the Western Mustangs at Alumni Stadium Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m. 

The Lancers look to hand the undefeated Mustangs their first loss of the season. Fans can expect an exciting, high-energy contest with playoff implications on the line. 

Men’s Volleyball preseason set to host U SPORTS Top 10 opponents

Windsor-Essex volleyball fans can expect some outstanding university volleyball starting Thursday, Sept. 25. The Lancer Men’s Volleyball team is set to host several U SPORTS Top 10 ranked opponents from across the country as part of their home exhibition schedule.

The Lancers will first welcome Trinity Western University Spartans to the Toldo Lancer for a pair of pre-season exhibition matches. The Lancers will host TWU – their first visit to the TLC – on Thursday and again on Friday, Sept. 26, with first serve set for 8 p.m.

The University of Windsor Lancers are set to face off against the McMaster Marauders this Saturday, Sept. 13, at Alumni Stadium.

Kick-off is at 7 p.m., and students are invited to bring the energy and help create a true home-field advantage.

This week’s game is the Blue Collar Classic: Community Game, a celebration of Windsor-Essex pride and the people who make the region strong.

Lancers kick-off season at home opener

The University of Windsor Lancers will kick off a new varsity football season this Saturday, welcoming the Guelph Gryphons to Alumni Stadium.

Game time is set for 7 p.m. on Sept. 6.

More than just a match-up on the field, the evening is designed as a campus-wide celebration. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the Windsor community are invited to show their Lancer pride and contribute to the spirited atmosphere.

Pre-game festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Not Your Traditional Tailgate Party in Bridge Lot A.

Lancers set to launch Fall seasons this weekend

The Windsor Lancers are gearing up for an action-packed opening weekend as both soccer and football teams kick off their 2025 campaigns. 

The action begins Saturday, Aug. 30, when Lancer football hits the road to face the Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo.
