After taking philosophy at University of Windsor, its unique way of shaping how I thought about the world led me to complete a MSc in Human Rights & International Politics. This led me to several careers in the nonprofit sector bringing me to where I am now as a Strategic Partnership Manager at the Welcome Centre Shelter for Women and Families. Learning how to intelligently question things, acquiring the ability to have reasonable discourse and being able to look at problems through a different lens were all skills that I learned through the program at University of Windsor that I could not have attained anywhere else.
