Move-in date for Winter 2021 is Wednesday, January 6, 2021. All students will be assigned a room in Alumni Hall. Another building could be offered as an option if Alumni Hall is at full occupancy
Undergraduate First-Year Students
- Accommodations are guaranteed for first-year students coming directly from high school and who submit their residence application and a $475 residence deposit by the deadline date of November 9, 2020.
- Applications and deposits received after November 9, 2020, will be assigned based on availability.
- Residence Deposits will be credited to Residence Fees.
Beyond First-Year and above students
- Returning residence students, Graduate, Transfer, Exchange and 2nd-year students or higher who submit their residence application and a $475 residence deposit, will be assigned based on availability
- Residence Deposits will be credited to Residence Fees
How to submit a residence deposit
- Due to the dynamic nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, residence staff is working remotely, and we ask that you submit your residence deposit using web (internet) banking. DO NOT SEND CASH OR CHEQUE

Application Process
- application for Inter/Summer 2021 is now available at https://webapps.uwindsor.ca/residence/apply/user/application/index.php. *Limited Rooms are available.
- a $475 deposit ($250 for programs 4-weeks or less) is required to process an application and it will be credited to your Residence account
- applications are processed on a first-come first-serve basis
- all students enrolled during Inter/Summer session will be assigned a single room in Alumni Hall
- fees are $125 per week and/or $30 per day
- fees include utilities, furnished room, refrigerator, technology fee (cable in lounges, wireless internet, local phone line)
- University fees are due May 15, 2021 (unless otherwise stated)

SELF- QUARANTINE ACCOMMODATIONS - INTER/SUMMER 2021
Residence will not be offering on-campus accommodations to quarantine.
Due to the regulations of the Canadian and/or Ontario governments, students arriving in Canada may be required to quarantine off-campus with a family member/friend or at a hotel. Students will be responsible for costs related to accommodations, food and transportation costs etc.
Once you have completed your quarantine, you will need to provide the university with proof of a negative COVID-19 test by sending an email to resservices@uwindsor.ca before you move into residence for the Inter/Summer 2021 term.
