Careers in Science

The USci Network supports students in their exploration of different career pathways, whether it’s through workshops, seminars, or one-on-one consultations. In preparation of post-graduate career searching, multiple workshops are available throughout the year that focus on: resume and CV building, skills statement labs, preparing yourself for a career in science, and much more. Some of the events and workshops that we host are:

  • Using Social Media to Leverage Your Career – Learn social media networking strategies 

  • Personal Statements – Write effective personal statements for graduate and professional schools 

  • Introduction to Resume – Tips and resources for students to pursue the careers they want 

  • Job Search 101 – Tips on how to search for jobs in your area of study
