Leadership Training and Development

On this page, we will promote campus co-curricular leadership training and development events. However, many academic programs offer courses that teach leadership from the point of view of your discipline. Some courses explicitly are called 'leadership,' but many are not! Please ask your program's advisor, or the advisors in the Advising Centre, about available curriculum in leadership. If you would like to promote your leadership event on this page, please contact us at leadership@uwindsor.ca. Thanks!

Lancer Leadership Series Fall Conference

Students across campus take up roles on university and departmental committees such as departmental councils, student societies, and student clubs, etc. The goal of the fall conference is to prepare student leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them to excel in their leadership positions. We aim to help students develop leadership skills that will have a direct, positive impact on their ability to thrive in their personal endeavours and their current and future employment.

Lancer Leadership Winter Conference

This student-driven conference starts with an amazing keynote speaker, and takes you through compelling presentations from students and community leaders! The 2024 theme is Leadership on the Commons.

If you have a University of Windsor leadership and training event to share please email tbrunet@uwindsor.ca.
