Equity Diversity Inclusion and Decolonization Week 2025

Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, & Decolonization (EDID) Week 2025

March 17 - March 21, 2025

Virtual and In-Person Available

The upcoming UWindsor Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Decolonization (EDID) Week 2025 promises to engage the campus community in conversation and collaboration toward a more just world. From March 17 to March 21, this week will spotlight the dedication of campus and local partners, united in their commitment to advancing equity.

Hosted by the Office of the Vice-President People, Equity, and Inclusion, the inaugural EDID Week in 2022 included sessions on Indigenization, transatlantic slavery, resistance and the Underground Railroad, accessibility awareness, sexual violence prevention, and the rights of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community. The second and third EDID Weeks in 2023 and 2024 built on this foundation, amplifying efforts to challenge oppression and acknowledging the ongoing and future work essential for fostering a more just community. Now in its fourth year, EDID Week 2025 looks to continue these critical conversations.
